Stuart Parkinson is an economist and writes at The Top Note, a blog discussing ongoing macro and micro-economic issues.

Parkinson was Chief Operating Officer for Deutsche Bank’s Research Department from 1999 to 2013. He also served on the European & United States Management Committees of Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets (Sales & Trading) Division.

Parkinson began his career in the Economics Department at the UK merchant bank Morgan Grenfell & Co. Limited, where he worked as Senior International Economist responsible for monitoring developments across industrial and developing economies.
