Anna Greenspan

Assistant Professor, NYU Shanghai

Anna Greenspan is an assistant professor at NYU Shanghai, part of the New York University global network. Her research interests are in continental philosophy, cyberculture, and urban Asia.

Ms. Greenspan’s books include Shanghai Future: Modernity Remade (Hurst/Oxford University Press, 2014) and India and the IT Revolution: Networks of Globalization (Palgrave, 2005).

She is a cofounder of the Shanghai Studies Society and Hacked Matter.

Ms. Greenspan holds an MA and PhD from Warwick University (UK) and a BA from the University of Toronto.
